• Files and images uploaded through forms

Usage data:

• Browser type, device, and IP address
• Pages visited and actions taken within the app
• Error logs and performance metrics

We use your data only to provide and improve the eFORMS service:

• To create and manage your account
• To store and display your forms and submission data
• To deliver form responses via WhatsApp
• To send important account notifications and updates
• To troubleshoot issues and improve platform reliability
• To prevent fraud and enforce our Terms of Service

We do not use your data for targeted advertising or sell it to third parties.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data only in these limited circumstances:

• Service providers: Trusted partners (hosting, email, analytics) that help us operate eFORMS — bound by strict confidentiality agreements
• Google Sheets integration: If you enable this, form responses are shared with your designated Google Sheet under your control
• WhatsApp delivery: Form submission summaries are forwarded to the WhatsApp number you configure on your form
• Legal requirements: If required by Nigerian law, court order, or to protect the safety of users

Your data is stored securely on servers located in Nigeria and the EU. We apply industry-standard security measures including:

• HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
• Encrypted storage for sensitive credentials
• Regular security audits and access controls
• Automated backups to prevent data loss

While we take every reasonable precaution, no system is 100% secure. Please keep your login credentials safe.

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correct — update inaccurate personal information
• Delete — request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export — download your forms and submission data in CSV format
• Withdraw consent — opt out of non-essential communications

eFORMS is built for the Nigerian market and handles personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. In practice, this means:

• We only collect the personal data a form owner has configured their form to ask for — nothing beyond what's needed to fulfil an order, booking, or inquiry
• Data submitted through a form is made available to that form's owner, who is responsible for how they use it in their own business — the same as any data a customer would hand over in person or by phone
• We do not sell personal data to third parties, and do not use it for advertising
• You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time (see "Your Rights" above)
• Sensitive categories of data (health, financial, or identity documents submitted through forms like insurance or HMO intake) are stored with the same security measures described under "Data Storage & Security", and are never used for any purpose beyond what the form owner configured

If you are a form owner collecting sensitive personal data (health, financial, or identity information) from your own customers, you remain responsible for your own NDPR compliance as the data controller for that data — eFORMS acts as your data processor, providing the platform you use to collect it.

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

• Authentication cookie: Keeps you signed in across sessions
• Preference cookie: Remembers your app settings

You can clear cookies via your browser settings, but this will sign you out of eFORMS.

eFORMS delivers form submissions to WhatsApp numbers you specify. Please note:

• Form respondents' data is sent to your WhatsApp number — you are responsible for handling it appropriately
• We do not access or store WhatsApp message delivery confirmations
• WhatsApp's own privacy policy governs messages sent through their platform

Ensure you have a lawful basis for collecting respondent data before publishing your forms.

eFORMS is intended for businesses and adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately at admin@eforms.ng and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will:

• Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
• Send a notification email to registered users
• Show an in-app banner for 14 days after the change

Continued use of eFORMS after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
